When You Edit A Photo, How Do You Make Some Things Black And White And Keep Some Colorful?

I’ve seen photos with the black & white background, But some things in the photo keep their color. Like, The background would be black & white, but the person is still colorful. Or everything is black & white except for their eyes. Stuff like that. Does anyone know how to do that on the photobucket or myspace ‘Customize Photo’ thing?

    awwww so like, colorsplash? go on picnik.com/app upload the pic you want then click the effects tab. go down til you find "black and white" click on it but dont press "apply" yet.
    Click the paintbrush now. now your choosing what parts you want to stay colored, but if you accidentally make something colored and you want it black n white again click, "Effect" next to original on the top of that little box. now choose the area you want back black n white. WHen u have it how you want click "apply" Now click "save & share" u r done! ur welcome now! :)
