Brunton 26 Watt Foldable Solar Array

I have a 600W portable backup battery for my laptop and other electronics that I keep for emergencies, and wanted a way to charge that if the electricity does not go more than a day. Brunton solar panels I asked this because I had read a blog belonging to a U.S. service person in Iraq who mentioned that he used one to recharge your laptop on the floor. I ordered one and spent a day testing and I am very happy with it. In direct sunlight it seems to work as advertised and I have been using Brunton solar panels to recharge my batteries Duracell backup, my phone and my laptop. I have also continued to charge on cloudy days, although the production of energy should be reduced, however, seemed to produce a respectable. The cloudy day made me curious, so I decided to test the array. I went to see how low of a light can still generate a charge. I was surprised to find that could recharge my mobile with incandescent light over my dining room table. With the exception of the position of the connection ports (as mentioned in other reviews of this product) I am very satisfied with the design and use of Brunton solar panel. If it were not so expensive that I would buy a second.

Great product. Since it is folding that works well for backpacking. At the last camp was constantly in use. It provides the energy needed to make an emergency phone and a GPS unit. When folded it is really great. The washers help very well. Be sure to read the amperage and voltage of the device needs before buying. I would recommend this product. The weight is 27 oz Matrix + 12V adapter. Or 25 of the matrix only. This is a bit heavy for ultralight backpackers, but no power of 26W (4V/1600mA 15) is necessary.

I bought this with Xantrex Technologies 852-2070 Xpower Power Pack Power Pack for the inverter and energy storage. They complement each other very well. Group may collect a large amount of energy and keep things running for several hours.

I submit to the burden Duracell 600 and used to load the D-cell batteries, fans run, play music, etc. exceeded my expectations. The first time I used that day was cloudy Treede in my garden, but still get plenty of power for the MP3 player and external speakers. There is also a phone at the same time. It is published 12-18V, even on a day partly cloudy in Virginia enough amps to run a netbook in real time. My only complaint is that the strings, or the lack of cables. I bought a variety 12V adapter plug adapter and cigarette lighter. It is likely that an extension cord and cigarette lighter. If you're at a table in the shade, is that the cable is not enough to run the line in a sunny spot. It would have been nice to have Omni adapter cable longer and give a different shorter cable to connect only two groups [which I do]. I'll make a hose connection. If you buy Duracell 600, the intake of the AC outlet, you can use this series to draw and I think even trickle charge without some kind of supervisory authority, as Duracell uses onboard controller ac drip also charged. This was a huge for me Benny. Just plug and play. This fact is documented in the manual and self-reported use in solar panel. Nice touch for Duracell. It is well done and very cool looking Sci Fi. What is not immediately realize that these panels are actually using monocrystalline cells. Not likely, however. I hope that will last a long time.

I have this to my cell phone and perhaps work on a MacBook. I believe this could lead to a vibrating mouse. Really disappointed that this panel does not seem to have enough juice to do anything.
